Welcome to the official website for the Village of Dansville Water Project. The project will address aging and failing water infrastructure that serves the Village residents. We hope residents/water customers find the information here helpful, and will appreciate a more convenient way to ask questions and offer comments about the project, through the website's contact page.
The Dansville Water Project is the result of careful planning, and will upgrade the water distribution system, replacing insufficient, small diameter piping, which in some cases is over 110 years old. The Village Board and Staff worked closely with MRB Group to identify and pursue funding opportunities to lower the cost that impacts water system users. As a result the Village has received a 3.0 million dollar grant for the project, through the Water Infrastructure Improvement Act, as well as securing a very low interest rate of 1.125 percent through the USDA's Rural Development. |
